Labour campaigns with fact, not fiction

Dear resident,

The Labour candidates for the Parish and District Councils have been, and still are, conducting a positive campaign based on what we’ve done and what we intend to do. We haven’t made things up or besmirched our opponents.

I am disappointed however, to witness some of the things being peddled by other candidates.

I know that you don’t want to see candidates bickering, it must really put you off and give politics a bad name.

Some candidates and agents are using Facebook and Twitter to undermine their opponent – I think this is an idle way of trying to gain support and you deserve better. Of course, the vast majority of you can see through and recognise the lies and inference being peddled in order to influence you.

I’ve asked that all our Labour candidates deal with facts, treat everyone with respect and state clearly what they want to achieve and who they are.

To prove this point, please visit our publications page where you can view the literature produced in the name of the Labour Party during this election campaign.
